Photography for me started as a hobby in class 11. After school, for my further education I enrolled for a specialised photography course at the Light and Life Academy in Ooty. Whilst in Ooty, I was trained and mentored by the Brooks Institute of Photography alumni Iqbal K Mohamed, Paul Liebhardt, Jim Hughes, Jonathan Kingston & Rudy Loupias to name a few.
I have been shooting professionally since 2005. Shooting a wide variety of subjects ranging from fashion to products, food to architecture, still life to weddings is what describes me best. Personally, I do not believe in photography specialisations.
My clients include the Taj group of hotels, Hyatt Hotels, Coca Cola, Harpers Bazaar, LG, BBC Good Food, Kolkata Knight Riders cricket team, Matrix Cellular to name a few.

I have been teaching regularly since 2010. And I have to say I really enjoy teaching and a 'hands-on' approach is my style. It gives me a certain kind of joy that is hard to express in words.
I currently hold the honour of being appointed a "Canon Photo Mentor" for the Canon EOS Academy. This empanelment is offered to only the most established names in the photography industry in each country where Canon is present.
In 2013, I was appointed as an "Adobe Social Influencer" for India for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Currently, I am a brand ambassador for Panasonic Eneloop Batteries.
I was appointed as a Judge for the Canon Photo Marathon 2016.
In 2010, I was awarded the "Kodak Wedding Photographer of The Year"; Award for The Best Wedding Photo Story by Better Photography Magazine which is Asia's highest selling photography magazine.
In 2013, I was awarded the Grand Prize at The Embassy of The People's Republic of China (New Delhi) Photo Contest.
